DIY Glycolysis

Go on to the next step.

Step Five - Ketose to Aldose Isomerisation of Dihydroxyacetone Phosphate

Product Glyceraldehyde 3-phosphate

Good. For each mole of glucose you have 1 mole of glyceraldehyde 3-phosphate direct from the aldol cleavage and now another mole from dihydroxyacetone phosphate. So from now on there are two moles of each intermediate per mole of glucose processed. All of the following reactions are doubled up - take account of this as you track your ATP and redox balance.

So far two ATP spent & redox balanced.
